Reconnecting with Nico Porteous, a 2x Olympic medalist, was a rad experience. We trudged miles off Highway 395 (Eastern Sierras) on an oppressively hot, spring day to shovel snow for one- maybe two- more shots for the project. It was humbling, rewarding, and eye-opening for someone who grew up getting inspired by videos like this one!
